Vintage Sinclair Service Station
Location: Elberta, UT at the junction of US Highway 6 and Utah 68. Built in 1917, this Sinclair service station was located in Dividend, UT until 1947 when the Tintic Standard Mine (gold) closed and the community started to fade away. People didn’t just leave, but they took their homes and other structures with them – buildings from Dividend ended up in towns throughout Utah. This Sinclair service station was moved here. Elberta's elevation is 4,600 feet. [See photo on Flickr]

Nice series, Leon. I probably liked the Sinclair building best.
