LUCKY LAGER ROAD TRIP
BRITISH COLUMBIA
Saltery Bay was named after a Japanese salmon saltery and fish packing plant that was based here in the early 1900s. Salmon were purchased from the Coquette people, who have fished these waters for generations. Today, Saltery Bay is the terminal for ferries sailing to the northern Sunshine Coast from the Earl’s Cove ferry terminal on the southern Sunshine Coast. At Saltery Bay there is a government marina and anchorage with limited space for small craft.
