SOUTHWESTERN USA
RS ROAD TRIP
August 29, 2017 (Day 22)
Grand Canyon South Rim - II
Miles Today: 18 / Total Trip Miles: 3,179
Today, Mary and I explored the western section of Grand Canyon National Park's south rim. The Canyon is over 200 miles long and 11 miles wide at the south rim. The mighty Colorado River flows through the gorge over a mile below the south rim viewpoints … no other place on earth rivals these views. Today's temperatures reached the high 80s Fahrenheit ... the average August temperature for the south rim is 82 degrees.

Thanks .... your blog is a nice break from being Covid-19 confined.
Would love to be on that porch. Love the color photo, but in the black and whites, you can hear heavy classical music. Like Wagner, or somebody.
Another nice set, Leon! Love the shot on the porch. Would love to enjoy some morning coffee or a late afternoon cocktail on that porch. :-)
