M/V Coho
The M/V Coho is a ferry owned and operated by the Black Ball Line. "M/V" is a ship prefix identifying the Coho as a motor vessel. The Coho carries passengers, cars, motorcycles, trucks, and semi-trailer trucks between Victoria, British Columbia and Port Angeles, Washington. The twenty-three mile crossing takes about 90 minutes. M/V Coho made news in December 1999, when Ahmed Ressam was arrested by border authorities in Port Angeles after he attempted to enter the United States from Victoria on the Coho with homemade explosives and timing devices hidden in his car. Ressam admitted he and accomplices had planned to bomb Los Angeles International Airport on New Year's Eve.

Went to Victoria with friends ages ago and remember that cars were packed so tightly, we had to open a window to be able to get out of the car. Photos are beautiful, Leon. The clouds give a real impression of power. (I hear pirate music.)

Black and white really create a certain moodiness around these great photos! Way to go, Leon!
