These tables for customers of  Nathan's Famous hot dog stand (established 1916) are adjacent to Nathan's original location in Coney Island - Brooklyn, New York City. The huge structure in the background is the Parachute Jump. This defunct amusement ride has been called the "Eiffel Tower of Brooklyn." It was built for the 1939 New York World's Fair in Flushing Meadows Park, Queens, and moved to its current site in 1941. The steel structure is  262 feet tall. (Photo taken: 12/29/2008)
