Downtown Vancouver is a fun city to walk and people-watch. Here are some photos from our walk.

Location: Canada Place.
The Harbour Centre complex, including the office tower and Vancouver Lookout, was built in 1977. Equivalent to 40 stories, the building was designed by WZMH Architects, the same firm that created the CN Tower in Toronto. It is constructed in the Brutalist/Modernist style that was popular in Vancouver at the time.
Commodore Bowling & Billiards opened in 1930 as a place where "Pleasant Days May Be Spent." Location: Granville Street.
We took a glass elevator up 553 feet and enjoyed a 360° view that includes Stanley Park, historic Gastown, the Northshore mountains, and the downtown core. Vancouver Lookout has been an iconic element of the city’s skyline since 1977.
