ROAD TRIP:
NEWPORT, OR

Today it rained very hard. I attempted to visit the Yaquina Head Lighthouse, but it was pouring rain. I did get to check out Aquarium Village. The Village is an eclectic collection of retail, dining, and artist spaces that were previously fishing gear sheds dating from the early 1970s.

South Beach Fish Market
Location: US Highway 101 in Newport - south of the Yaquina Bay Bridge. Great seafood. I enjoyed fish-n-chips and clam chowder.
